The Kitchen Bench

Mix together a smattering of interviews with foodies of The Great Southern region, a sprinkle of cooking tips, a few lip smacking recipes, interspersed with music, and you have The Kitchen Bench, each Friday at 12 noon with Chef Tracey Armstrong.

What's On The Bench This Week?
Friday - 15 April 2011

‘A French Affair’

You may have seen a 350kg custom built wood-fired oven being hauled around the Great Southern recently.

Perhaps you have even had the pleasure of tasting one of Frenchman’s Xavier Poupel’s warm flaky buttery pastries oozing with chocolate that was cooked nestled amongst the 700C coals within.

The charming husband and wife team Xavier & Janette from Terroir & Table join The Bench to talk all things fabulously foody and French.

The Weeks Ahead : Tracey is on Maternity Leave!

The team at Albany Community Radio 100.9fm wish Tracey, hubby Ed Armstrong and young Hudson all the very best for the arrival of their second child, due very soon.

Rest assured that The Kitchen Bench will be returning to the airwaves some time in June 2011.
